- Most dreamt about holiday destination: African safari, definitely. And something down and dirty, none of the prissy type tours. Be great to see the Painted Dogs there too!
- Most loved / favourite / spoilt pet: My 45kg Rottweiler. Every trip, occasion, house, car and decision in life somehow involved Skyla! I wouldn’t say she was a pet, she was more like my first baby.
- What animal best captures your personality: Family dog. Friendly, family-orientated, protective, but can bark really loudly if I need to! Geez, do you think I like dogs?
- The power I would possess if I were a superhero: Ability to control everyone and everything with my mind. Who could ever beat that?
- What’s your dream car / if you were a car, what would you be? A stretch Hummer - the perfect combination of sitting back, relaxing while you have a glass of wine with the sense of power and prestigious appearance!
- Where would you be if you weren’t in market research? On the big screen of course... right opposite George Clooney. Ahhhhh...
Chris Batini (BA. Hons, QPMR)
- Most dreamt about holiday destination: A cruise through the Antarctic – pack ice, penguins, seals, solitude.
- Most loved/ favourite / spoilt pet: My (wife’s) horse, George – a thoroughbred with a real personality, loves human company.
- What animal best captures your personality: The Owl...not sure why, the computer test said so!
- The power I would possess if I were a superhero: To be able to fly would be the best... no cape though.
- What’s your dream car / if you were a car, what would you be? That thing the Jetsons used to get around in.
- Where would you be if you weren’t in market research? Train driver was always my childhood dream, but I’d want to do it in the age of steam.
Sally Braidwood (LLB, MBR, GradDipAMgt)
- Most dreamt about holiday destination: Destination? Singular? That’s not fair…I am desperate to go back to Istanbul, I want to see more of Italy, I have to get to New York, I am yet to see any of far north WA and I am more than a little intrigued to see the real life Jersey Shore!
- Most loved/ favourite / spoilt pet: My mum is allergic to most animals so we never had pets growing up and I’ve continued this path as an adult…I am rather fond of (i.e. don’t run screaming from) my friend’s Doberman Obi, though!
- What animal best captures your personality: A penguin, apparently. I do quite like the snow but I’m not that fond of raw fish, so who knows.
- The power I would possess if I were a superhero: I would love to have an I Dream of Jeanie style ability to change outfits and teleport to anywhere in the world in the blink of an eye – I seem to waste a lot of time getting ready and driving places.
- What’s your dream car / if you were a car, what would you be? I would be very happy with a Volks Wagon Eos. And, one day I would like to buy back my first car, Fiat 124CCC Sports Coupe. I’m sentimental!
- Where would you be if you weren’t in market research? I would be a world renowned food writer travelling the globe, of course … Rick Stein style! Market research just seemed more practical.

- Most dreamt about holiday destination: The Maldvies... fishing and relaxing.. champagne... nothing better!
- Most loved / favourite / spoilt pet: My tiny shell dwelling cichlids (the cool fish of the tropical world)!
- What animal best captures your personality: Wolf! I’m playful, friendly, loyal, have the potential to get snappy if required and definitely enjoy a bit of a play on the wild side.
- The power I would possess if I were a superhero: Martial Arts skills- speed and strength!
- What’s your dream car / if you were a car, what would you be? A yellow V12 LP Lamborghini Murcielago, speedy, sexy...6.5LTRs of unleashed fury...
- Where would you be if you weren’t in market research? I’d be the world’s #1 Best Selling Author for my world changing fictional masterpieces (obviously).
Jacinta Bristow-Baohm (BBus., BA.)
- Most dreamt about holiday destination: I have always wanted to go to Egypt (very unoriginal!) and see all the Sphinxes, Pyramids and other ‘Egypt’ stuff. Not too keen on going inside a pyramid - though I would love to, it's a bit too claustrophobic from what I hear.
- Most loved / favourite / spoilt pet: Most loved pet was my black kelpie cross Kiyah who was not very well behaved but had a beautiful personality to compensate (a bit like my 2 kids).
- What animal best captures your personality: An owl because I am oh so wise – rather its because when I think of an owl an image appears in my head of a nice fluffy brown owl with its eyes closed sitting nice and snug in a tree hollow and I am a little bit sleep obsessed courtesy of parenthood.
- The power I would possess if I were a superhero: Rather than a superhero I would be like Samantha from Bewitched and clean my house just by wiggling my nose!
- What’s your dream car / if you were a car, what would you be? I wouldn’t say no to a Red mini Cooper S with 2 white racing stripes down the bonnet. I think If I was a car though I would probably be a Volvo – practical and reliable.
- Where would you be if you weren’t in market research? Could there be another option apart from Market Research?! If I actually had any talent I would be a painter/artist but as I don’t, well….
Michelle Clark-Crumpton (BCom. Hons)
- Most dreamt about holiday destination: There are so many! Relaxing and sightseeing in Spain, Italy or the south of France is high on my list. Or a snowboarding holiday in Austria, Switzerland, New Zealand or Canada would be fantastic.
- Most loved / favourite / spoilt pet: The yellow lab my family had when I was a kid. His name was Kramer and his personality matched his namesake from Seinfeld.
- What animal best captures your personality: A border collie – I love runs in the park, I get very excited about dinner time, and I have a strong desire to be as active as possible.
- The power I would possess if I were a superhero: The ability to fly very fast. I love to travel so this would be very handy, especially for visiting friends and family who are spread out around the world.
- What’s your dream car / if you were a car, what would you be? I love the Lexus LFA because it is incredibly rare, amazingly powerful, and looks awesome. Wish I could drive one!
- Where would you be if you weren’t in market research? I would be playing or coaching ice hockey. Being a Canadian, it’s in my blood and is a sport I’ve played my whole life (and I continue to still play today).
Matthew Gibbs (BA. Hons, MA)
- Most dreamt about holiday destination: It's Australia for me (honestly!). Ever since my family first came to visit from WA I have always dreamt of coming to stay in Oz - and now I am!
- Most loved / favourite / spoilt pet: A jet black gerbil named Burger – part of the first pair of gerbils my fiancée convinced me to house. He was very much the Steve McQueen of the gerbil world. An ingenious escapee.
- What animal best captures your personality: The honey bee. I like the idea that individual exploration can be combined with a collective effort to create something more than the sum of the parts. Furthermore, after discovering a store of nectar, I also tend to end up communicating through the medium of a funky waggle dance!
- The power I would possess if I were a superhero: At a click I'd be able to instantly reduce all adults to the level of uncontrollable giggles usually only found in excitable children!
- What’s your dream car / if you were a car, what would you be? The E-Type Jaguar similar to the one in Austin Powers - but with a bed, cooker, fridge and toilet so we could roam freely. More of an E-Type tardis campervan really.
- Where would you be if you weren’t in market research? My brief folly into becoming a musician would have blossomed into a colossal career. I'd be writing a couple of groundbreaking orchestral scores before lunch, then off to perform cool funk & blues music at yet another idyllic venue!
Huw Hepworth (BCom. Hons, Dip FA, QPMR)
- Most dreamt about holiday destination: All expenses paid trip all around the world. Why pick just one place?
- Most loved / favourite / spoilt pet: I’m not really a pet person, although the family has a black schnauzer-poodle cross.
- What animal best captures your personality: A horse: large, dependable, smells of hay.
- The power I would possess if I were a superhero: Invulnerability, given that superheroes tend to get shot at a lot.
- What’s your dream car / if you were a car, what would you be? The DeLorean out of “Back to the Future” – powered by cold fusion and is a time machine.
- Where would you be if you weren’t in market research? Living it up as an international diamond thief.
Sarah Rasmussen (GradDipComms&PR, MMS, BCom. Hons)
- Most dreamt about holiday destination: Hawaii - Been there! Shopped it! Seen it! Can’t wait to go back!
- Most loved / favourite / spoilt pet: Our family’s two Burmese cats – Boss and Honcho. We’ve had them since they were kittens, they’re brothers and part of our family. We couldn’t leave them in NZ, so they’re now living with us in Perth too.
- What animal best captures your personality: I’m an eagle – definitely independent and strong-willed, optimistic, organised, hard-working, a challenger and always working towards a set goal.
- The power I would possess if I were a superhero: The power to see into the future … and change it, if necessary!
- What’s your dream car / if you were a car, what would you be? A red Lamborghini Diablo – as Jeremy Clarkson once said "it’s designed solely to be the biggest head-turner in the world."
- Where would you be if you weren’t in market research? I would have already won my millions in lotto and I’d be living in a condo, and snow skiing in British Columbia, Canada.
Janine Robinson
- Most dreamt about holiday destination: Most places, having not yet travelled overseas (except for Bali and NZ) - anywhere there is adventure and fun things to do but also time to relax and dream about my next holiday destination.
- Most loved / favourite / spoilt pet: First family dog – Golden Labrador. My sister’s dog Chester – Chocolate Brown Labrador – very loved and extremely spoilt … only get to see him when I visit NZ but have him on my screensaver on home computer. When I can get a rental that allows pets the first thing I will do is get a dog!
- What animal best captures your personality: I would have to say a Labrador … I am patient, loyal to the hilt, fun-loving and free-spirited, easy going, mellow, gentle and have a knack for destroying the garden!
- The power I would possess if I were a superhero: If I had to choose only one power it would be to have the ability to be in two places at the same time – imagine the possibilities!!
- What’s your dream car / if you were a car, what would you be? Not so much a dream car as a dream motorcycle. It would be a Harley Davidson – fast and powerful, custom styled, durable and forever a classic.
- Where would you be if you weren’t in market research? Anywhere that involved working with animals.
Justin Scerri (BCom. Hons, QPMR)
- Most dreamt about holiday destination: I’d love to take my kids to Disney Land in the US. It would be awesome to see their excited little faces!
- Most loved / favourite / spoilt pet: This is too hard for me. It’s like choosing between your own children. All of my furry kids have been very loved and I’ve shed many tears for each of them – Max (German Shepherd), Kippie (German Shepherd), Arnie (St Bernard), Skyla (Rottweiler), and Little Bub (Horse).
- What animal best captures your personality: Domestic cat. Affectionate, independent, a little arrogant and like to be spoilt/treated like royalty. Oh – and a real vicious streak (cue wicked smile).
- The power I would possess if I were a superhero: Ability to control time. Mwwwaahahahaha. The power to move backward and forward through time at will would be awesome.
- What’s your dream car / if you were a car, what would you be? Two different questions. My dream car is a Ferrari coz it’s sleek, fast and rare. If I was a car though I’d probably be a Nissan GTR – not too pretentious or well known – but serious horsepower under the bonnet and goes like a ‘shower of s*&t’.
- Where would you be if you weren’t in market research? If I still needed money – I’d be in marketing or advertising. If I didn’t need the money – I’d be a Karate Instructor.
Matthew Stephen (BCom. Hons)
- Most dreamt about holiday destination: Europe! And finally getting there this year (2012)! Can’t wait!
- Most loved / favourite / spoilt pet: Our old cat Jaspar, sadly no longer with us. He used to just sit at his bowl politely waiting to be fed without making a peep. Pure class.
- What animal best captures your personality: It’s completely unoriginal but I think it’s actually the Painted Dog! (*anxiously glances around, wondering why no one else has said this yet*). I’m very empathetic and loyal, extremely competitive and definitely a carnivore.
- The power I would possess if I were a superhero: Definitely teleportation… free and instant world travel! Not to mention I could save a few bucks from not needing a car anymore.
- What’s your dream car / if you were a car, what would you be? Presuming that I can’t teleport and still need a car? Well the 16-year old in me would definitely go for a head-turning, highly impractical boy’s toy like an Audi R8. But realistically I think I’d go for something a little more sensible yet still very classy and refined - probably a big luxury 4WD like a Lexus RX8 or BMW X3. And given I’m such a sophisticated and physically imposing specimen myself, you can lock that in for the car I’d be as well…
- Where would you be if you weren’t in market research? Hard to say! When I was 6 I wanted to be a chicken farmer and when I was 12 I wanted to be a lawyer, but I reckon if I hadn’t studied marketing I would have taken psychology. So probably a psychologist. Or a barrister to chickens.
Luca Vittaloni (BPsych, MPsych, Soc & Comms)
- Most dreamt about holiday destination: I like large, chaotic, old cities and would love to visit Moscow at some stage.
- Most loved / favourite / spoilt pet: Paco, my beloved, giant, hairy, best friend. When I found him alone and scared in a dog pound he was only 2 months old and could sleep in my hands. Now, 15 years and many adventures later, he is over 45 kilos and looks after my parents in Milan. We have a chat every week via Skype.
- What animal best captures your personality: A dolphin – free to roam in the ocean with its pod.
- The power I would possess if I were a superhero: I’d like to be able to speak all the languages in the world… and to have Teleportation to make the most out of my first superpower!
- What’s your dream car / if you were a car, what would you be? Don’t really have a dream car… But if I was a car I’d probably be a campervan... Independent and always ready for the next destination.
- Where would you be if you weren’t in market research? Marine Biology, studying those dolphins!

- Most dreamt about holiday destination: Anywhere rich in ancient culture and history. I would love to travel the Mediterranean aboard the Black Swan – a la Francesco da Mosto style. And preferably with the same captain he travelled with too.
- Most loved / favourite / spoilt pet: Two cats rescued from the Cat Haven 9 years ago when they were only 3 months old. Awwww. Their names are Gingee Smirko and Nero de Nero. Gingee loves junk food. He can smell an open chip packet or exposed chocolate bar a mile away. Whereas Nero expects no less than 6 large cooked prawns (hand shelled, thank you) every night for dinner.
- What animal best captures your personality: Lioness: strong-willed, eesilient, and independent
- The power I would possess if I were a superhero: The coolest and most stylish superhero of all time – Wonder Womaaaaaan! She wears a fabulous outfit, has regal heritage, an invisible jet, the golden lasso of truth, superhuman strength, is resistant to magic, can communicate with animals AND regenerates when injured (which means she never ages). What more could a woman want!
- What’s your dream car / if you were a car, what would you be? Sexy Steve McQueen’s 1968 Ford Mustang GT 390 in the “Bullitt”. Understated style, with amazing speed and lots of guts!
- Where would you be if you weren’t in market research? Ideally - a rescue ranger for the RSPCA, making sure that all animals are treated kindly and go to a loving home. I dream of retiring on a hobby farm. An old property set in a lush green garden - with of horses, dogs, cats, pigs, ducks, chickens, cows, goats, sheep… the lot!

- Most dreamt about holiday destination: Would have to be to spend time driving around Italy, Spain and France, immersed in wine, food and culture.

- What animal best captures your personality: Now because I am the new girl this may seem like I am sucking up but I totally got WILD DOG on “The Animal in You” test, which claims to be the original and most accurate personality test on the web!
- The power I would possess if I were a superhero: Mind control, it would save me a lot of time if people would just agree with me in the first place.
- What’s your dream car / if you were a car, what would you be? Anything that doesn’t have those stupid stick figure families on the back!
- Where would you be if you weren’t in market research? More than likely something with food and wine.

- Most dreamt about holiday destination: An endless round the world trip – an abundance of different foods, new sights and experiences.

Most loved / favourite / spoilt pet: I honestly can’t say that I have a “favourite” pet – all my dogs have been equally loved for their various personality traits!
- What animal best captures your personality: A German shepherd – warm, affectionate, loyal, hardworking and calculating.
- The power I would possess if I were a superhero: Well I’d possess all the unmatched abilities of Chuck Norris – colossal strength, advanced common sense, forward thinking, rugged good looks, the list is endless … Actually if I was Chuck, I would have realised that there are no words worthy of my description ... hahaha …
- What’s your dream car / if you were a car, what would you be? A 1967 black Chevrolet Impala – stylish, rare and powerful.
- Where would you be if you weren’t in market research? A clown doctor – The Real Patch Adams! Or living the “dream life” of every true free spirited cowboy – on a ranch with wide open space and the warmest of family homes, driving a huge truck with my dogs on the back and my girl in the seat beside me! Not forgetting, the beer, the bonfires, the rodeos and the company of my brothers and friends!
